Marlys Kraus D.V.M. 

Dr. Kraus grew up in Iowa where her love of animals began early.  She knew by the age of eight she was going to become a veterinarian.  Dr. Kraus graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 and established the Vetmobile Housecall Veterinary Service in 1989 to serve Rochester, Stewartville, Chatfield and the surrounding communities in SE Minnesota.  She enjoys all aspects of general practice and embraces the deeper relationships she is able to form with her clients and patients within the housecall format.

Her time off is spent with her dogs, cats, horses, and her husband.  They love to explore the beautiful state of Minnesota, riding, kayaking,  hiking and competing in mounted orienteering.
